It's been a minute. OK, more like two years. Rather than pretend that's normal, I'll just say - we've been heads down building, and it's time to surface.

Here's what's been going on...

🔧 Infrastructure Overhaul

We've migrated almost our entire hosting stack from AWS to dedicated UK servers. Faster response times, lower costs, and our data stays in the UK. It's the kind of boring-but-important work that makes everything else better.

If you're still on overpriced cloud hosting, we've now done this migration enough times to do it in our sleep. Happy to chat.

⛓️ FLUID Pool Turns 5

Our Cardano stake pool has been running continuously since 2020. Five years of minting blocks.

Beyond the pool, we've been active across the Cardano ecosystem - Jonathan is now a dRep (delegated representative) and involved in working groups from governance through to SPO & Developer community groups.

Our Catalyst Fund 12 project produced SPO Academy - an education platform helping stake pool operators aim for sustainability.

🤖 AI-Assisted Development

This is the big one. AI coding tools have fundamentally changed what a small, experienced team can ship. I'm not talking about chatbots writing dodgy code - I mean production-grade development at startup speed.

What used to take months and tens of thousands can now be done in days. Which brings us to...

Our latest build is First Door - a property management platform for UK HMO landlords. Multi-tenant SaaS architecture, automated onboarding, quiz-based marketing funnel, integrated payments, email sequences, analytics.

401 commits across 7 weeks. That's roughly 8 sprints' worth of work - built by a single senior engineer using AI-assisted development. The kind of project that would have taken 6+ months and a team of 4 not long ago.
